In memory of Carol Elkins, Timothy Gunther, Stephen Jones, and Lewis Gardner, talented artists who contributed to the spirit and success of community theatre. Carol and Tim were prolific writers and regulars at the playwriting lab, which met weekly at the Morton Memorial Library & Community House in Rhinecliff. Stephen, a well-known actor in the region, played the lead in Carol’s play, “Waxer,” in the 2015 Short Play Festival at The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck. Writer and artist Lew Gardner was a guest at the lab. All are pictured below and remembered fondly. The photos on this page were taken for fun, so please forgive the quality of some. The photo of Timothy Gunther is from a Times Union article about his death.
